Warm

Yes, I rode to work today.

Today Spring seemed to be breaking out all over.
And people were out enjoying the warm temperatures.
The sign on the post says, "Snow Route", but today it was a daffodil route.

Today I, also, made a discovery. It was so warm I decided to open the vents on my helmet for the home ride. Funny thing, I didn't feel any air coming through the front  face vent. I pulled over and closed the vent. Presto air! I've been running with the front vent open rather than closed all winter. Oh well, I thought I noticed a draft.
  • 41F/5C and sunny for the ride to work.
  • 66F/19C with a few clouds for the home ride.

  1. I think it's hard to tell about those vents, too.

Congratulations on surviving another turn of the seasons. Nothing like springtime to make you glad to be alive.

    1. It's funny my only beef with the helmet was it was a little drafty. Duh! Maybe I've fixed the problem LOL.

It does certainly feel like Spring is here and I'm grateful to be here for one more.

  2. First- I have to say how lovely that first photo of the daffodil sis. Such a great angle.

Second - don't you wish vents were easier to tell if they were open or closed. Half the time I couldn't tell you which were open and which were closed on my Scorpion. The Shoei seems a little easier to tell.

    1. Thanks.

I figured everyone would get a big laugh out of me being vent challenged, but it appears I'm not alone. Who knew?

  3. Yippee! SPRING!

Your day was like ours here in Cincinnati - just gorgeous.

Today will be the same and then those daffodils will be demanding a drink, so rain the rest of the week.

    But warmer...in the 60s...

    "Daffodil Route" for sure!

    1. We got some rain late Sunday afternoon, but it was a wonderful weekend.

Seeing the "Snow Route" sign and the daffodils made me smile and I had to share it. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  4. Sign me up as just one more confused Venter....I've been on the wrong side more than once and you'd think that eventually I'd catch on.

We're going from Spring teasing to Spring Almost. Yesterday afternoon the ground was almost white with new snow, this morning before the rain I was on the porch swing with our daughter's dog, she curled up next to me, one cat in my lap and one on my shoulder. We all had our eyes closed.
