And, I did something this morning that shows how hot it has been this summer. I wore a light jacket under my mesh jacket. Funny how 70F/21C can feel chilly after a string of much warmer mornings.
Yes, we had a break in the weather. It rained some over the weekend. The temperatures while still warm sure felt nice today. I saw many more joggers out this morning than I'm accustomed. I think everyone who could was trying to enjoy the morning's coolness. Soon schools will begin. Whatever happened to, "See you in September"? Oh well, admitting I remember the song probably dates me.
Maybe August will pull a surprise. The forecasters are suggesting a much more gentile week and possibly a weekend of "resort weather." May it be so.
