And . . .
The sleet and snow did come, but it was not near the amounts they warned.
This morning dawned with the promise of sun. The most difficult part of the commute was clearing off the car. I admit to being completely dumbfounded to find out the Courts weren't going to open until 10am. Since I was there I figured I might as well work. Please don't tell anyone. I probably broke some rule.
After a day of Missouri March Sun shining on the streets I drove home on clear and dry. Well, until I got to my street, but I suspect this is no surprise.
It got warmer today then they expected. I hope this means it will be warmer overnight.
There will be no riding tomorrow, but it looks like I won't be driving long.
- 4F/-16C and a wee bit cloudy for the drive to work.
- 22F/-6C with a milky sort of mostly cloudy for the drive home.
Hopefully the warmer temperatures bring melted snow, but the temps don't drop back down and bring ice.
ReplyDeleteFunny how they don't get the word out court was opening late. If it was me, I probably would have just worked too.
I don't understand it either. The County made the decision the night before. Oh well, I've complained before and I'll complain again and I suspect all my complaining will change nothing.
