Nope

Nope, I didn't ride to work today.

I think the roads were clear enough to ride this morning. I know they definitely were clear enough by evening.

The truth of it is, I just wasn't feeling well and driving seemed the path of least resistance.

The snow is disappearing rapidly.

And, today I spied my first flamingo of the season.
  • 32F/0C for the morning drive to work.
  • 40F/4C for the drive home.

  1. I am only calmed by knowing that this endless winter, this cold, is annoying most of the US and even the UK. We have not been singled out...

Rain here for the weekend, close to 50 degrees. My poor cats...they want their fenced yard back so bad.

I hope you feel better soon. Always good to listen to what your body says.

    1. I am feeling better. Thanks for the good wish. It looks like the weather this coming weekend will be much different than last weekend, in a very good way.

  2. You did right not riding when feeling sick. Be better soon. I have been suffering from migraines for the last two days. I hate them although it might tell that weather is going to change.

    1. Yes, hopefully the migraines are a precursor to wonderful weather coming your way. Let's just plan on it shall we?

Hope the migraines depart soon. They are no fun. I used to get them, but ironically I haven't had a headache since I had the last concussion. Apparently, I traded the migraines in a whole other set of symptoms.

      Take care.

    1. It is an unusual flamingo. I'm not sure I've seen one quite like it before. I liked it and I'm glad you did, too.

Very nice to have you back,

  4. Oooh how many points do you get for spying the first flamingo of the season? Seems you should get something. An extra bagel on Sunday maybe?

Always best to heed instinct and how your are feeling when deciding on two wheels or four.
