And . . .
It did get down to 31F/-.5C. We'll see if there was much damage. I imagine it was colder in the outlying areas. The City tends to be warmer. It was a clear evening and those who had more commitment than me saw the "Blood Moon". I thought about it before I went to bed, but decided I let my son tell me about it instead.
It was a pretty good day for riding, but I didn't see many others out. Vulcan rider rode. Deputy Chrome-Head rode. I saw one other scooter on the road during my morning commute. That was all. I suspect the number I see will increase as the temperatures do as the week moves along.
- 31F/-.5C and clear for the ride to work.
- 49F/9C and a few clouds for the ride home.
Oh dear. Magnolias gone brown. Sad.
ReplyDeleteThe frost wasn't as bad as I feared, at least not in the City. I suspect away from the buildings and human activity it was worse. I looked for magnolia trees and didn't see any. The star magnolia's still looked good.
Delete31 degrees doesn't sound like a pleasant ride to work, but a piece of cake for you.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't bad at all and gave me a chance to run some of the juice out of my heated gloves. I'm told I should store them 75% charged. There about there now.
