A Taste of Summer

Yes, I rode to work today.

And . . .

There were motorcycles and scooters everywhere.

At lunchtime people were everywhere.

I was a little surprised there were only three bikes in the parking area. Yes, I rode the Red Fox. I didn't get a chance to ride over the weekend. The plan had been to take the really long way home. Then a co-worker reminded me it was Cinco de Mayo. This has turned into another major drinking holiday. Safe seemed home directly.

  • 58F/14C and cloudy for the ride to work.
  • 86F/30C with clouds, but lots of sunshine for the ride home.

  1. Funny how many more two wheeled vehicles are on the roads when the nice weather hits.

Good plan ging directly home. Seems most holidays have become drinking ones. Oh wait, I live in a college town.....

    1. Lots of bikes and scooters out when the weather is good. More scooters than bikes when it's not.

I think you were right to begin with: Seems most holidays have become drinking ones.

  2. It really does look and feel like summer in your pictures. And everyday is a holiday in a college town.

    1. It was just down right gorgeous yesterday. It was the first really great day and everybody was out and about. Today was just as nice, but not so many folks out. I guess it's old hat now :^)
