And . . .
It was another dry ride day. If I'd been on the bike yesterday morning my rain gear would have been tested, but I wasn't. I had a dentist appointment and decided to just schedule the whole day off. It gave me an opportunity to meet with a couple of people I've not seen in way too long. Working 8 to 5, writing this blog, spending time with Heather, chores, exercise, etc. means face time with friends seems increasingly difficult to come by. I don't like this trend.
Back to the weather, it always surprises me how relative temperatures can be. Not long ago 68F/20C would have felt warm, today when I went outside for my morning break 68F/20C felt almost chilly. The body does adjust.
On my walk I saw this little character. It reminded me of R2D2. It looked a little forlorn and I decided to take its photo to, you know, cheer it up. |
- 66F/19C and overcast for the ride to work.
- 73F/23C and mostly cloudy for the home ride.
Glad to know I'm not the only one that feel that my "work to life balance" can be out of whack sometimes.
ReplyDeleteRobert,
DeleteI don't see how anyone has time to watch TV. Oh well, this life balance thing seems always to be a work in progress.
Two Fridays trumps two Mondays any week.
ReplyDeleteThat vacuum does look a little sad doesn't it. Good thing you cheered it up.
Funny how things really can seem to take on emotions. I sure its just our projection, yet sometimes ....
