And . . .
It was a great relief.
Because of the shift from Daylight Savings Time it isn't dark when I leave out in the morning.
Of course, that means I'm leaving work in the dark.
The big news weather wise today was the wind.
There were gusts well over 30 mph and Downtown the canyon effect made riding most interesting. The wind picked up all sorts of things and blew them to new homes here and there. Fortunately, the Red Fox was not one of them.
They're saying tonight will bring a definite chill.
- 48F/9C and partly cloudy for the ride to work.
- 48F/9C and a few clouds for the home ride.
Daylight Saving Time is a temporary blessing of light in the morning but it fades in January.
ReplyDeleteKeep riding!

Yep, Steve, soon enough it will be dark riding both ways. I'm not complaining. As, Richard reminds me, it could already be dark both ways.
DeleteAnd, you keep riding, too!
Very temporary. For me it's dark for both morning and evening. Sunrise is 9:00am and sunset is 4:00pm.
ReplyDeleteRichard,
DeleteThe time change really signals the change of the season for me. Yes, it was dark in the morning before the time change, but that had been a gradual development. The sudden flip-flop really makes it feel like what we call winter is drawing near.
44 days until daylight starts getting longer! ;)
ReplyDeleteBut, who's counting :^)
