And . . .
The only difference from the morning to the evening was the temperature.
I've been riding the Kymco the last few days. Often, I take a different route in the morning when I'm riding the Red Fox. It's quicker, but has more traffic.
But, as I have often said: People who complain about the traffic in St. Louis haven't lived anywhere else. This building has just been made over into a self-storage site. It had been vacant for as long as I've worked Downtown. It is good to see it come to life again.
- 72F/22C and plenty of sunshine for the ride to work.
- 91F/33C and plenty of sunny for the ride home.
Good to see you back! Good to see StL buildings again, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Glad you like the buildings. I do, too.
DeleteYour morning low temps seem quite warm already. We saw 51 this morning but will get into the 80's this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteThe heat index for the ride in this morning was in the 80's. It's trying to act like summer here.
DeleteI just ran across your blog and glad to see someone from my hometown riding and writing. I grew up in the south county area (Affton/ Lindbergh) and several of my siblings are still in the area. I now reside in the northwest area of Houston. TX and can vouch for "Living Somewhere Else" traffic. The traffic is horrible here, all the time. It's a place that if one has a choice not to ride in the suburbs or city they don't. Keep those post coming and ride safe in the "Show Me" state.
ReplyDeleteWelcome. I hope to. Life has gotten wonderfully busy for me of late. Learning to juggle and we'll see how well I do.
DeleteSt.Louis Hills is the general area I now call home. Both my kids graduated from Kirkwood.
I'm still surprised this place became home for me, even though I didn't go to high school here :^)
