Dangling

Yes, I rode to work today.

And . . .

0710CDT
We continue to march toward the Dark.

But, we aren't there. We are in that marvelous in-between time full of color and playful light.

As a kid originally from the farm there are certain sights that astound me no matter how often I see them.

Window washers dangling from the tall buildings is definitely one of them.

Today it was back to being warm and there were bikes back in the lot again. Tomorrow looks like rain. We'll see how many are out and about then.

  • 38F/3C and clear for the ride to work.
  • 67F/19C with some clouds for the ride home.

  1. Yikes, window washers on high-rises. They have nerves of steel me thinks.

We woke to a chilly 30˚ this morning so hubby opted for the car and I took the bus. Brrr.

    1. My ex-wife once entertained becoming an high-rise window washer, but to use her words, "chickened out". I sent her the photo. She found it funny and comment, "I wish I hadn't chickened out." I showed the photo to my surpervisor and he said, "I miss doing that. It was some really good money." Funny the things you learn about people.
