And . . .
It was our first real "coolish" day.
It was clear, but didn't get quite as cold as they predicted. Nor, did we get any snow.
I did see two scooters and a Harley on my ride in. I like it when I'm not the only rider I see on the road. When I got to work Vulcan Rider was already there.
It is supposed to be chillier tomorrow. We'll see who's out and about then.
- 25F/-4C with a few clouds for the ride in.
- 33F/.5C and fair for the home ride.
I see some slushy scootering going on here. Bicycles still everywhere, but most motorized two wheels are put to rest now.
ReplyDeleteWe will be almost 60 by Sunday and that will probably put you in the 80s!
I think we're supposed to have similar temperatures and rain. Heaven knows we need the rain. Fairly typical for us, but that sounds warm for you all this time of year. Enjoy!
DeleteBrrrr. Your temperatures have definitely dipped below ours.
ReplyDeleteOur highs and lows aren't changing much over the day. They hover right about 48 and get just over 50 in the day.
Not to worry it could be back in the 70's by next week. It's the way of it here.
DeleteKeith you're a better man than I. You and Steve take the cake braving those cccccold roads.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you do if there's snow during the day? Do you leave your bike at work and take it home once the roads are semi-clear?
Part of your answer has to do with "cccccold roads." The ground seldom freezes here. This means I can ride in stuff you wouldn't dare to . . . and, I'm suspect Steve wouldn't either. I've never had to leave the bike there and get a ride home, but I'm willing to do so. If there is a decent chance that could happen I usually bring the car, but then again when a surprise snow happens while I'm at work, I have all the adventure I could want for.
DeleteWe'll see what happens this year. The last two we have had very little snow. Perhaps we're do for a Winter. I believe the Farmer's Almanac says it's going to be a doozie.
