And . . .
There is nothing like a forecast of 0% chance of rain to fill up the motorcycle parking area. By the way, I was the only non-cruiser.
Off topic. One of the things I like about being grown up* is eating a whole can of black olives without my mother making a comment about me taking on the attributes of another mammal, one with a flat nose and and curly tail. Oh, and I mixed them with some brussel sprouts just to totally gross out Heather who can't stand either. :^)
- 62F with sun for the ride to work.
- 75F with a few clouds for the home ride.
*I suspect whether I'm all grown up might be debated by some.
Hmmmm.......round things or mostly roundy things......:) I could easily eat too many of either one.
ReplyDeleteWhen I changed how I was eating about 18 months and 20lb ago kalamata olives and brussel sprouts have become staples. Seldom does a day go by that either one or both are on the menu. I love them both.
DeleteI am with Coop, I love black olives and brussel sprouts. Being an adult means dessert for breakfast too on occasion which is never a bad thing really.
ReplyDeleteI chuckled at the motorcycle parking. Brad rode all through the rainy season and now that it is sunny the cruisers don't leave him a spot in the designated motorcycle parking. On sunny days only of course, lol.
Nearly every Summer Vulcan Rider goes on the warpath about all the bikes. He's lobbied for assigned parking places. This year there hasn't been the big surge...yet. When it happens I'm sure he be steaming.
DeleteI LOVE brussel sprouts!
ReplyDeleteI saw a recipe on some cable show last weekend about deep fried brussel sprouts.
Have you tried them?
Alas, no. And, I suspect I won't. I gave up deep fried foods nearly two years ago. I've made an exception a couple of times for sweet patato fries, but since I only know how good deep fried brussel sprouts sound and not how great I'm sure they would taste I suspect I will be strong....maybe :^)
