It Finally Rained

Yes, I rode to work today.

And,

It finally rained.

It was dry during my ride to work and when I was riding home, but come late morning Downtown was hit by a very nice rain storm.

It was still sprinkling when I went out for lunch

I swear if one listened closely one could hear even the plants that have been watered regularly laughing among themselves and glorying in rain.

On my way home I noticed the red giraffe I pass from time to time bellowing for more rain.

It appears the giraffe's pleading is going ignored. Once again, rain is out of the forecast.
