And, this is for Martha, who wondered what the sky looks like here at 7am.
It isn't usually this dark, but the remnants of Hurricane Isaac brought clouds this morning, clouds but no rain. No rain, that is, until after I was safely sitting at my desk.
It rained on again, off again during the day. When I came out after work it was just sprinkling.
The rain picked up on the way home. At times it was heavy. At other times it was barely raining. Briefly the wind began gusting strong enough to push me around on the road, but after about a mile it died down.
There were some significant thunderstorms in the area, but mostly this has been the perfect rain for us, lots of opportunity for the water to soak in and not just run off. Here's hoping for two days of this.
