And I forgot my camera. Of course, this means no beginning of the week photo. Hopefully tomorrow.
Today at work I moved back across the street to the Carnahan Courthouse. This means no more closet for my gear. That was short lived.
My new supervisor is the supervisor I had before I moved over to the Civil Courthouse. We are a good team. He said to me this morning, "I bet your looking forward to Spring?" Aren't we all? But, I knew what he was talking about...warmer riding days. Truthfully, I thought the temperatures today were mighty fine.
When it comes to the temperatures and riding, I'm not one to complain very often, but when I do it is more likely to be about it being too hot rather than too cold.
- 37F/3C and overcast for the ride to work.
- 49F/9C with some clouds, but plenty of sunshine for the home ride.
The cold doesn't bother me, the no sun does. It can be zero and sunny and I'm more happy than 40 and no sun.
ReplyDeleteLooks like another below average week. Heated gear is getting a work out this year!
I'm glad to have the heated grips. I haven't been cold in my other gear. I've really learned the wisdom of layers. And, yes, it isn't acting much like Spring is it?
DeleteNo more closet? What shall you do with your riding gear? Do you have a clothes tree or need to hang it off your chair?
ReplyDeleteMy gear has a very nice place. I took a photo in the posting for Tuesday. All is good.

ReplyDeleteI am not bothered by the cold but I worry about ice and frost so I don't ride below 3°c. We do not get the dry cold that you may get in the East.
Does not having a closet mean you were just demoted ? I would say that was a great PERK of your job, which is now gone.

It was a great perk, but merely an accidental one. I was not demoted just re-purposed. All is good.
