And . . .
The big news was daffodils.
And blooming trees.
On the way home I caught a glimpse of Deputy Chrome-Head. I don't talk about him much even though he rides his red 49cc Kymco to work nearly everyday. He parks his scooter in the Deputies area at the Civil Courthouse. Sometimes in the evening I'll see him. When I worked in the Civil Courthouse I'd occasionally see him in the elevator. He told me when he rode his wife got to sleep in and she liked to sleep in, so he rode whenever he could. Now that I work in the Carnahan Courthouse I only see him on the road.

The Weather Channel said "Rain to Begin at 7:30 PM" and the radar on the National Weather Service Site looked like all the rain was south of us. Ah, but I've been through this before. The smartphone went into the waterproof backpack and the rain liners went in the pants. Sure enough, I rode home in a nice steady Springtime rain. It was wonderful.
