In Her Place

Yes, I rode to work today.

And . . .

It was another gorgeous day.

I rode Bille today.

She was pack in her place. And, Black Harley Dude has claimed his space, which displaced another regular rider, but he seems okay with it all. I do love it when a plan comes together.

  • 64F/18C and sunny for the ride to work.
  • 84F/29C and a few clouds for the home ride.

  1. Keith, people who gather regularly in the same place tend to develop their 'spot'. Once each person has a spot, it will tend to stay that way until the membership changes, or the place changes. I've observed this in my career beginning in my law firm (lawyers' dining room) then partners' meetings, then boardrooms.

Motorbikes are still too rare in the garage at work for a parking order to emerge.

As I wrote that, I was tempted to write 'pecking order'.

I think monarchies evolved from seating arrangements.
