There was no pretty sunrise to see this morning. It simply went from dark to gray to less gray. Today the forecast called for occasional rain. I looked ahead to tomorrow's forecast and it calls for occasional showers. Hmmm, I wondered what's the difference. I asked Goldilocks. She tells me rain or snow means the rain or snow will fall steadily over a large area, whereas rain showers or snow showers means it will be more of a here and there sort of thing. Makes sense and probably everybody knew it but me. Oh well, now I know, too.
Today was definitely a rainy day. There wasn't much occasional about it. It rained all day. And, it was raining when it was time for me to head for home.
