Here's A Question

Yes, I rode to work today.

Tonight on my way home I stopped off at the filling station to fill up the Symba. Last night I was there filling up the Yaris. The person at the register said to me, "Looks like your car got to stay home today." She had waited on me last evening as well. I replied, "Yep, and for that I'm grateful."

An update on the Cavilia tent.

To give you an idea of the size of the tent, that is most of a semi-trailer parked to the right with Cavilia written on it.

And, the weather today? No snow or ice on the ground or on the streets, just on the cars. Here's a question: Why don't people clear the snow or frost off their windshields before they take off driving? I must of seen a half dozen cars with people driving near blind with their windshield wipers on...like that is going to any good. Oh well.
  • 32F/0C with a flurry or two for the ride into work.
  • 34F/1C and overcast for the ride home.

  1. I keep reading you guys who are still scootering and I just grit my teeth. My streets are mainly clear now, but it's just too cold and I don't have my new helmet yet. $easonal (un)employment is suicidal. Can't wait to get out of it again.

    1. I stay nice and warm in the gear I wear. When the roads are clear it is all about the gear. I will ride now on days I wouldn't have a couple of year ago when I was just beginning. I didn't have the right gear and I would have froze...actually, I did freeze and it wasn't what I consider that cold now. Riding is about enjoying the ride.

I am glad to be employed year round. I'm pretty broke, but I know exactly what I can count on.

      Spring is sneaking up.
