Yes, I rode to work today.

Daylight Savings Time has begun. This means darkness for the ride to work. I was hearing lots of people complaining about the time change. I don't like having to recalibrate my senses, but I am very happy about having more light to play outside after work. Well, eventually anyway. If
Al Sleet had been giving the forecast for today he might have said, "It is going to be dark throughout the night followed by increasing light early in the morning, but remaining partly dark throughout the day."
Obviously someone thought it was a perfect day to Roughhouse.
And, I'm happy to announce I didn't drop my new helmet.
- 36F/2C and overcast for the ride to work.
- 36F/2C and overcast for the home ride.
I don't mind the darkness in the morning, look at the opportunities after work :-)
ReplyDeleteSonja,
DeleteI couldn't agree more! I'm thinking inline skating, land paddling, and more.
I love my 80 mile detour rides home!
ReplyDeleteAnd there is that, too :^)
DeleteGood job not dropping your helmet.
ReplyDeleteI was worried about the time change. we have been getting up at 4 am so the thoughts of it seeming like 3 were not appealing. So far it hasn't been too bad although I miss opening up the curtains at 6:30 am.
