And . . .
A lovely day it was.
Almost all of the snow is gone. A week ago there was 10in. of snow on the ground. Now all that's left is where the snow was piled up.
The streets were all dry.
If the Vulcan had been parked and awaiting Billie's arrival I would have assume Vulcan Rider was on vacation. Lots of scooters and motorcycles were out.
The plumping moon kept me company on the ride home. There is precipitation in the forecast for tomorrow, precipitation and wind.
- 51F/11C and overcast for the ride to work.
- 50F/10C with a few clouds for the home ride.
The snow and ice came and went quickly!
ReplyDeleteThat's the joys of St.Louis Winter. Here today and gone tomorrow and back and gone and on and on ...
DeleteNice to see the snow is all melted. Hopefully it won't return anytime soon. Although it does make for nice photo opportunities.
ReplyDeleteI guess it does make for photo opportunities, but the light can be harsh :^) I'm okay with it staying away for a while.
DeleteYes, this is what I grew up with. Can't say "used to" now as I'm used to WI winters. Still, it's what I long for and aim for again. Somewhere, somehow, some day.
ReplyDeleteIt is an interesting. Here it can feel like each of the season in the span of a week or less. It took some getting used to, but I suspect I adjusted quicker than I would going back to the winters I grew up with :^)
