Nope, I didn't ride to work today.
And . . .
The rain began early.
There was still enough slippy slidey stuff to keep the Symba in the garage.
Of course, the warming temperatures and the rain meant there was fog in the area, but it stayed up and visibility was good.
It pretty much rained all day.
The drive home was quite the adventure. Lots of water. There weren't puddles, there were small lakes on the streets. And for some reason it seemed everyone was going home at the same time. Heavy traffic with plenty of water means I've had many more delightful drives home.
Fog, snow and rain. Sounds delightful...
ReplyDeleteI think I'll stick with just the snow!
Yes, variety isn't always the spice of life. You can imagine how cold the upper twenties felt with all that moisture in the air and a stiff breeze blowing. Nasty.
DeleteI like the warm coloring of that first picture.
ReplyDeleteSomehow I can't see you enjoying that drive home. Huge lakes of water and dense traffic are no fun. Glad you made it safe.
I didn't enjoy it one bit! Almost stayed in from evening plans because it was that horrid, but changed my mind. Fortunately the rain stopped and it was much nicer.
DeleteKeith sorry your commute was derailed by all that horrible weather. We seem to be having bizarre weather patterns with lots of extremes. Here's hoping things return to normal in short order.
ReplyDeleteHaving swings in the weather is normal here, but the extremes are growing. The weekend and today were beautiful. Tomorrow? Not so much.
