Inside

Yes, I rode to work today.

And . . .

Once again the weather was grand.

This is what I walk into every workday morning. It has lots of stone. I like that.

Today I discovered this window off in a corner. It looked like the ideal place to sit and watch the world.

And it was. That's me knee.

Traffic was heavy for the ride home. I don't know why. It just is sometimes. And the sky was slyly  charming. Even the contrails seemed to belong.

Rain tomorrow. Thunderstorms likely, but there is no indication they will be severe. We'll see.

  • 36F/2C with the sun  in my eyes for the ride to work.
  • 50F/10C, hazy and brightly overcast for the home ride.

  1. Well, if it's raining then it must be too warm to snow!!

    1. Richard,
One can hope its too warm for snow and/or freezing rain...which it was. We're in a warm-up. Today the high was 73F. Of course, that means unstable weather and wind.

    1. Not very often in the interior. Anchorage or southeast, absolutely.

  3. A perfect place to watch the world.

I love staring out the window and watching life. Windows are just good places to contemplate life or even think about nothing.

    1. Brandy,
I always wanted a bay window to sit and watch the world. That's not worked out, but I do love windows.

    2. Martha,
Windows are even more important to me now. My little office has no windows and where I'm eating my lunch doesn't either. So, having this window to "escape" to is very very good.

  4. I like windows; worth so much more than light let'r in'rs. We take them for granted, waste their potential.
