Rainy Day

Yes, I rode to work today.

And . . .

We had significant rainfall overnight; however, my ride Downtown was dry.

As I was parking the bike it began to rain enough to bring out the umbrellas.

It got quite dark at midday. There was hail reported all around the area, but none Downtown. We did get rained on pretty good though.

It was quite bright by quitting time. Still no sun, but close. I saw Deputy Chrome-Head again. Sadly, I caught him rubbing his eye, but you get a decent look at his ride. It may be months before I see him again. It's funny how it works that way.

The weather could get nasty tonight and the outlook for tomorrow is murky. Hopefully it will clarify by morning. I'm thinking the severe weather my move on by morning, but only time will tell.

  • 48F/9C and overcast for the ride to work.
  • 54F/12C and brightly overcast for the home ride.

  1. Well, that depressing. Your gas is the same as ours. Usually when you get out of WI the gas prices go down.

Do take care in the weather!

    1. The weather wasn't much of a problem where I was. I was lucky. University City wasn't so lucky. Now there's thunder on the air again.

  2. I hope the poor weather rolled in and back out overnight.

But if it didn't I know you'd do fine in the rain.
